Wedding Updates
November 11th, 2025 - New York Venue Date & Place Confirmed!
We've booked our venue for our New York Reception! We'll be at the The Pallet Barn on October 10th, 2025! We still need to figure out catering for that event, but that date is locked in. So if you're unable to make it to our ceremony in Spokane, hopefully you'll be able to make it here!
We've also figured out majority of our menu for the reception. If you are interested in what we'll be providing, check out the Menu tab above!
Day-of schedule is still in the works, but the wedding ceremony will begin in the afternoon on May 16th. It'll then be followed by a cocktail hour, leading into the reception going into the evening! Reception should finish around 10pm.
Can't make it to Spokane? We understand it's a long way away from many we wish to invite, so we're planning on hosting a second reception in New York! Join us on October 10th, 2025 at The Pallet Barn! You can get directions to this venue by clicking here.
Our caterer is IBBQ4U. As it stands now, this is our current menu, but note it's still subject to change:
- Tri-Tip - slow cooked beef smoked with oak & apple wood
- Salmon - baked with lemon and ginger
- Mac & Cheese - with a hint of smoke and pitmaster's special seasoning
- Wok-stirred Vegetables - cooked with pitmaster's special seasoning
- Signature Salad - "Spring Mix" tossed with cranberries and pecans
- Caprese Salad - Tomatoes, fresh mozzarella, basil, olive oil & balsamic reduction
- Rolls & Butter - obtained fresh from a local bakery
We are also aware that some of our guests are gluten-free, and we're working with our caterer in ensuring majority of our food can be enjoyed by everyone. If you have any other food-related allergies, be sure to let us know in our RVSP form!
Our wedding happens to take place during graduation season, which is a busy time for Spokane! We recommend booking your hotel/AirBnB soon to beat that crowd. As we expect many to be coming from out of town, here's some hotels that we think are easy to get to from both the airport and the venue:
- Holiday Inn Express - Spokane Airport
- Hampton Inn Spokane
- Best Western Plus - Peppertree Airport Inn
While you could Uber/Lyft to the venue, we do recommend renting a car during your time here in Spokane! There's plenty to see in the area, especially if you enjoy the outdoors. Here's a couple places we recommend checking out during your time here:
When you go to purchase something off our list, click on the Buy Now button next to the item you wish to get us. That'll take you to another page with all the button links to complete the purchase and mark it off the registry. We also accept cash to go towards our Hawaii honeymoon, which can be sent to us via mail, at the wedding, or via Venmo. Reach out to us if you have any questions!
RSVP Questions
Can I RSVP online or do I have to mail in a RSVP card?
We're still getting some details figured out, so we're not quite ready for RSVPs. Once we are ready, we'll have a form that you can fill out from this website, you might of seen the button on the main page! We hope to have them ready by the end of the year, so check back later around then!
Am I allowed to bring a plus one? What about my children?
Our invites encompass your family, so your significant other and children are welcome to come!Ceremony Questions
Will the wedding be indoor or outdoors?
The wedding & reception will be entirely outdoors, with much of the area being grass. There is a plan for setting up tents in the case of rain, but plan accordingly for being outside.
What is the dress code for the wedding?
We're leaning towards semi-formal attire. We want people to be comfortable, but still dressed for the occasion. We're going for a garden party theme, so floral colors are recommended, but not required. Absolutely no all-white dresses! That is reserved for the bride.Reception Questions
Will there be a gap between the ceremony and reception?
The reception will be taking place at the same location as the ceremony, so there will be a brief gap between the two to allow people time to move to the new location on-site.
Will there be an open bar?
We'll have vodka lemonade in regular, strawberry, and huckleberry flavors available during our cocktail hour, but we'll have a couple kegs of beer, wine, and cider available during the cocktail hour and reception.
Is the venue accessible?
While most of the venue is level, there is a bit of a hill leading to the reception area. If you need assistance making it up the hill, the venue has a golf cart available to assist.Other Questions
