Wedding Updates
May 13th, 2026 - Weather Update
We're just days away from the big day! We're so excited to have everyone out here! We've been keeping our eyes on the weather for this weekend and it keeps changing whether its going to rain or not. While we're still hoping for decent weather, it will defintely be cold that day and there's a good chance we'll be doing our rain plan. The location for the ceremony and reception hasn't changed, just the main areas will be covered by tents to keep everyone dry. It's looking like it's going to be in the 50s, so we'll have some heaters setup underneath the tents, but sure to prepare for a colder day. We also recommend packing an umbrella or rain coat, as the paths between tents will still be exposed to the elements. The venue is providing some umbrellas as well, so if you don't have one, no worries!
Regardless of how the weather turns out, we're so happy people are traveling all this way to celebrate the two of us. We're so excited, and can't wait to celebrate with everyone!
April 12th, 2026 - Just about a month to go!
Oh my gosh, it's almost here! We're currently working on getting the last details ironed out, but we're just about ready for the big day! Our day-of schedule and barlist have been finalized, so be sure to check our the Schedule and Menu tabs for those details. The most important detail is that the venue will be opening for guests by 3:15pm by the earliest. The ceremony is still slated to begin at 4:00pm. Hope you're as excited as we are, and we can't wait to see everyone!
March 21st, 2026 - Less than 2 months!
Thank you everyone for RSVPing!
December 30th, 2025 - RVSPs are being sent out!
Since we've been able to nail down some specific dates, times, and our menu, we're ready to start accepting RSVPs! The official invitations should be sent in the mail in the next couple days, and they should have some QR codes to access this site and the RSVP form. If you click on the button above, you can access the RSVP form there.
- Please be sure to fill out the RSVP form by March 9th, 2026, as that's when we need to know an accurate head count.
- Please fill it out regardless if you can't attend, just so we know for sure if we should be expecting you and your family!
November 11th, 2025 - New York Venue Date & Place Confirmed!
We've booked our venue for our New York Reception! We'll be at the The Pallet Barn on October 10th, 2026! We still need to figure out catering for that event, but that date is locked in. So if you're unable to make it to our ceremony in Spokane, hopefully you'll be able to make it here!
We've also figured out majority of our menu for the reception. If you are interested in what we'll be providing, check out the Menu tab above!
The wedding ceremony will begin at 4:00pm on May 16th, 2026 at Palouse Ridge Events, with the venue opening for guests at 3:15pm at the earliest. The ceremony will then be followed by a cocktail hour for everyone to mingle while the reception area is prepared. The reception should be ready for seating around 5:30pm, where dinner, speeches, and dancing will commence till about 10pm!
Can't make it to Spokane? We understand it's a long way away from many we wish to invite, so we're planning on hosting a second reception in New York! Join us on October 10th, 2026 at The Pallet Barn! You can get directions to this venue by clicking here.

Our wedding happens to take place during graduation season, which is a busy time for Spokane! We recommend booking your hotel/AirBnB soon to beat that crowd. As we expect many to be coming from out of town, here's some hotels that we think are easy to get to from both the airport and the venue:
- Holiday Inn Express - Spokane Airport
- Hampton Inn Spokane
- Best Western Plus - Peppertree Airport Inn
While you could Uber/Lyft to the venue, we do recommend renting a car during your time here in Spokane! There's plenty to see in the area, especially if you enjoy the outdoors. Here's a couple places we recommend checking out during your time here:
When you go to purchase something off our list, click on the Buy Now button next to the item you wish to get us. That'll take you to another page with all the button links to complete the purchase and mark it off the registry. We also accept cash to go towards our Hawaii honeymoon, which can be sent to us via mail, at the wedding, or via Venmo. Reach out to us if you have any questions!
RSVP Questions
Can I RSVP online or do I have to mail in a RSVP card?
RSVPs have been collected and the form has been closed. If you need to cancel your RSVP or failed to respond in time, please reach out to us.
Am I allowed to bring a plus one? What about my children?
Our invites encompass your family, so your significant other and children are welcome to come!Ceremony Questions
Will the wedding be indoor or outdoors?
The wedding & reception will be entirely outdoors, with much of the area being grass. There is a plan for setting up tents in the case of rain, but plan accordingly for being outside.
What is the dress code for the wedding?
We're leaning towards semi-formal attire. We want people to be comfortable, but still dressed for the occasion. We're going for a garden party theme, so floral colors are recommended, but not required. Absolutely no all-white dresses! That is reserved for the bride.Reception Questions
Will there be a gap between the ceremony and reception?
The reception will be taking place at the same location as the ceremony, so there will be a brief gap between the two to allow people time to move to the new location on-site.
Will there be an open bar?
We'll have vodka lemonade in regular, strawberry, and huckleberry flavors available during our cocktail hour, but we'll have a couple kegs of beer, wine, and cider available during the cocktail hour and reception.
Is the venue accessible?
While most of the venue is level, there is a bit of a hill leading to the reception area. If you need assistance making it up the hill, the venue has a golf cart available to assist.Other Questions
What's the weather like in Spokane? What is there to do?
Typically around this time of year it's beginning to warm up. Expecting somewhere in the 60s-70s. It is still springtime so there is a possibility of rain. For things to do, take a look at the Travel tab for some suggestions!
We took some pictures/videos at the wedding! How can I send them to you two?
You can either email us the pictures/videos at longmichael97@gmail.com!
I have some other questions, how can I contact you?
While I'm sure you already have either one of our phone numbers, you can also email us at longmichael97@gmail.com, and either one of us will respond.Shouldn't be a page, just a link to the RSVP form.
